"Cloud run!" Zack called. my best friend Zack and I had to run away from a science lab called Shinra manufacturing. Now they were after us. While i was with shinra manufacturing i had mako injected in me and now i could hardly move thanks to the fluid. Zack ran up beside me and put my arm around his shoulder. "Come on Cloud they're catching up." Zack tried to encourage. i moved as much as i could. I saw Zack keep looking behind us every minute or so. I had to keep going i didn't want to slow Zack down. i felt pain shoot throught my body as the mako began to catch up with me. Zack looked down at me. He looked worried. he looked over at a hidden area in the rocks. He quickly dragged me over and sat me down. I was leaned up against a rock but i felt like i was about to faint. Zack ruffled my hair. Then he turned around and went towards shinras army. I reached out my hand towards him but no words came out to call him.
    I ran towards the army. i had to protect Cloud. He wasn't able to go on anymore. I went around the rocks corner and i saw the whole army infront of me. They had all their guns pointed at me. The only weapon i had was the one that my master gave me. I had never used it yet. I stood infront of the army and pulled out my sword. i lifted it up and whispered the words my master had said, "Never give up your dreams, and never lose your pride as a soilder!" i shouted at the end. i charged the army head on. They began shooting and comeing at me with their swords. I began to dodge and slice. Pictures of my life started flashing through my mind. The girl I loved Areith, my best friend Cloud, my master Angeal. I felt a bullet go in my shoulder. i ignored the pain and continued on. not even half the army was gone yet. I knew what the outcome of the battle was going to be. I felt one of their swords stab me. i pulled it out and killed the soilder. Ther was another shot that hit me. I knew i was beganing to lose. But i had to go on for Cloud was the only thing going through my mind. Two swords slashed. More guns came shooting. I felt my head spin my arms go weak. I fell to my knees. i remembered the time Cloud and me had been telling jokes all night. Areith and me on our first date together. I felt strenght returning to me. I opened my eyes and saw three gun men left. I dragged my sword up to the first one but as i got to the first one the one behind me shot me. i killed the first one and limped over to the second one and killed him too. i finally couldn't go on anymore. i fell down on my back. The last gunman leaned over me and shot me three times. The pain was immense. I closed my eyse from the shock.
    I woke up after being passed out for so long. Zack! Was he okay? He had went up and charged the whole army. I wish i could've helped him but i could still barely move. I looked around the rock Zack had hidden me behind. I saw a body lying there in the rain. My legs felt useless. I crawled using my arms to get  to the body. As i got closer to the body I saw it was Zack. I felt a tear slide down my cheek. When i got up to Zack i saw a puddle of blood around him. He had a small smile on his face. It looked as if he had been shot a lot. "Zack," I whispered. Zack opened his eyes then did a small grunt of pain. I just stared at him unable to say anything. Zack lifted up his arm and placed it on my shoulder. He brought my face down to his chest. "Live on," He whispered. I lifted myself up to look at him in the eyes. Zack looked over to his sword. He lifted it up and brought it towards me. "My hoped and dreams carry them out for me. You are proof that I lived." He continued. I grabbed the sword from his hands and stared down at it. Zack pushed the sword towards me then dropped his arm. "I am the proof you lived" I said softly. ZAck smiled and closed his eyes. My eyes went wide. He was dead. I lifted my head up to the dark clouds and rain. I began to remember. I remembered the time Zack had saved me from sepheroth. When we rode the truck headed to midgar. The time we had just met. I couldn't take it anymore. I yelled at the top of my lungs. Soon the clouds cleared and the sun began to shine. i stood up barely. I looked down at Zacks smiling face. "Good night Zack." i said quietly. i turned around and began limping towards midgar with Zacks sword to keep my promise.
